A local ice cream favorite on the corner of Johnson Street and Jefferson Street is Borden’s Ice Cream Shoppe. This location is actually the last Borden’s retail ice cream shop in the United States. Borden’s Ice Cream Shoppe opened in 1940. This iconic ice cream parlor has served generations of Lafayettiens.
